Type Image

One of the most comprehensive surveys of type ever published, Type Image showcases contemporary works that challenge the type/image divide. Letters, words, and phrases in Type Image are playfully crafted into landscapes, portraits, objects, or textures and patterns. Attention is paid to punctuation, pictorial typefaces, and designers' takes on the contemporary mainstream use of emoticons. Just wanted everybody to know that submitting deviations from now on will be difficult for me,as i have no personal computer to work on...also,my college has started so i'll have even less time to work.

My first journal entry,felt like talking!

I'm a hobbyist dabbling with Photoshop.I've always liked design,especially typography,but never had the time nor Photoshop to train myself...Got down with the GIMP some time ago to get my hands dirty though.So when I finally laid my hands on it a few months back,I was very excited!
Anyaways,fnding DA was a dream come true!Lots and lots(and lots!) of great artists and designers to witness...Lovely!
